Outside of Halmstad, Sweden, Linus Ymén aka Sonitus began producing music at the age of 15 and it's been his primary hobby ever since. He started out producing trance and house for several years, including collaborations with the swedish artist Metronome. Throughout the years he has experimented with several different genres which will always put a certain personal touch on his music.

With a broad range of influences, including artists like Aim, Amon Tobin, Aphilas, Bonobo, Cinematic Orchestra, Dj Krush, Herbaliser, Jazzanova, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Micatone, Mr. Scruff, Portishead, Quantic, Röyksopp, Rjd2, Saine, St. Germain, Thievery Corporation and Yonderboi, his music might sometimes be hard to categorize, but it's often a blend between lounge, jazz and hip hop.
